The new system-on-chip (SOC) come from Samsung, called Samsung Exynos 5250. The Exynos 5250 brings two Cortex-A15 cores which as the first time applying at 2GHz, When we comparing dual-core Exynos 5250 with a current Cortex-A9 dual-core SoC, Exynos 5250 have better performance as it is created using a 32nm-low power HKMG process. Exynos 5250 components are significantly smaller and thus more efficient with battery usage.
Not only receive double performance , The Samsung Exynos 5250 also enhances quietly in the graphics performance. It improves four times to Cortex-A9 APUs, and this new chip support for devices with a resolution of WQXGA 2560×1600 pixels, as well as
3D stereoscopic screens.

This new Samsung Exynos 5250 soc is ready for the upcoming device, next year would be great for Samsung Galaxy S III or IV or even the next Galaxy Tab. Samsung stated that it will be mass produced in the second quarter of next year.
Some device are rumored to adopt quad-core architecture such as Ipad 3 or Asus Transformer Prime . So, it’ll be interesting to comparing the performance benchmarks between them when they finally breakthrough the market.
